Clinical Supervision

Dr. Pilar Jennings

Individual

For psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, or clinicians working with embodied modalities, I offer private clinical supervision.  With an emphasis on culling meaning, increased insight, and deepening attunement, together we’ll explore the challenges and rewards of treatment.

In our efforts to offer a therapeutic process for patients, clinicians invariably face a broad spectrum of challenges.  The intimacy and complexity of therapeutic work sets the stage for depths of feeling, unconscious longings, and potential transference in both therapist and patient.  With a relational and contemplative perspective, we’ll explore your therapeutic efforts with compassion, respect, and curiosity.  As a relational analyst informed by Buddhist psychology, I bring a flexible approach to supervision grounded in appreciation for the depth and meaning of the therapeutic process.  Please contact me for fees and availability.

Group Supervision

I offer monthly group supervision for clinicians across modalities.   Through a combination of meditation practice, clinical study, and group processing, these groups offer opportunities for exploring the cross-pollination of psychodynamic work and Buddhist psychology, alongside clinical support for therapists navigating the complexity of treatment.

Therapeutic work is deepened and enriched when minds come together.  In these monthly meetings, you’ll have the opportunity to process clinical experience with like-minded clinicians across modalities.  We will explore psychodynamic treatment and therapeutic endeavors informed by spiritual insights and practice.  In addition to offering a place of community, these groups also provide opportunities for continued study and creative efforts at psychological healing.  Please contact me for fees and availability.
