The COVID-19 pandemic has created a time of dramatic change and uncertainty, stirring fear and anxiety in many people. Learn how the healing methods of both Buddhism and Western psychology can work with such feelings. We will examine how interpersonal dynamics, collective triggers, key relationships, and early development can lead to anxious feelings and behavior. We will then explore a contemplative response to this powerful form of suffering, employing spiritual methods for healing and strengthening our sense of wellbeing.
This workshop will include:
Guided Mindfulness of Feeling Meditation
Understanding and navigating uncertainty
Working with developmental causes of anxiety
Observing and exploring strong emotion
The $40 registration fee includes on-demand access to a recording of the workshop that can be viewed for one week following the date it was presented.
